CANTWELL David (Malahide, Co. Dublin and formerly Castleknock, Dublin) January 3rd 2026 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family under the caring staff at St. Paul’s ward, Beaumont Hospital. Beloved husband to Hazel, dear father to Claudine, Roger, Nathalie and David and a devoted grandfather to Fionn, Bobby, Ryan, Dylan, James and Elizabeth.
David is predeceased by his loving partner Ruth, his brother Paul and infant sister Henrietta
He will be dearly missed by his sisters Ruth, Mary, Emer, Lucy, Jean and Orla, brother Brendan, stepdaughter Rhonda, Stephen, sons-in-law Stephen and Brian, daughter-in-law Anne, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends.
Reposing at his home on Wednesday evening (January 7th) from 6pm to 8pm.
Removal to St. Sylvester’s Church, Malahide on Thursday morning (January 8th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by Cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
