Ciara McGlynn (Formerly of Santry, Glasnevin and Hartstown) February 25th 2026. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ciara. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in St James Hospital. Deeply cherished and forever loved by her heartbroken daughters Andi, Charli and Ruby, her adored granddaughter Clodagh and husband Laurence. Sadly missed by her loving parents Pat and Franco, brother Darragh, sister Aoife, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
A devoted mother, grandmother and friend, Ciara had a brilliant sense of humour and a huge heart to match. Her great laugh could fill a room and lift the spirits of everyone around her.
She had a special gift for knowing when someone needed a chat, a listening ear or a quiet word of comfort, and no matter who it was, she always made time, often brightening their whole day.
We will hold her empathy, her laughter and the love she gave so freely in our hearts forever. Her absence leaves a silence that can never be filled, and our lives will never be the same without her.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla Village on Tuesday evening (March 3rd) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. A Celebration of Ciara’s Life will take place at 1.30pm on Wednesday afternoon (March 4th) in Glasnevin Crematorium.
