Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff of Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock. Beloved wife of Liam and much loved mother of Declan, Maria, Pauline and Valerie. Cherished nana of Sarah, Gavin, Daniel, Justin, Luke, Adam, Aaron, Tara and Leon and gran-nana of Oscar, Chloe and Callum. Adored sister of May, Olive, Bernadette, Nora, Bridget and the late Al. Sadly missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Friday evening (June 26th) between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Saturday morning (June 27th) to the church of Our Lady Help of Christians, Navan Road arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

                  HIGGINS, Bernard (Leixlip, Co. Kildare, formerly of Tallaght Village, Dublin and Managing Director of Irish Taxi Meters) June 24th, 2026, peacefully, at home in the loving embrace of his immediate family. Beloved husband of Therese, much-loved father of Laura, Colmán and Clare, adored grandfather of Ella, Grace and Ben and dear brother of Mags and the late Michael and Philip. Pre-deceased by his parents Michael (Lit) and Kay.

                  Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

                  Reposing at his home on Sunday (28th June) from 4pm to 8pm.

                  Removal to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Confey, Leixlip on Monday morning (29th June) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.
