Gerard Gibney of Castleknock, Dublin and formerly of Stoneybatter, Dublin, May 8th 2026 peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (Sadie), cherished father of Sharon, Lorraine, Stephen, Gerard and the late John and Joe, devoted grandfather to Chloe, Sara, Sam, Daniel, Lyra, Justin, Luke and Harry, brother of Gus, Eileen, Des and the late Joe, Tom, Sean, Helen, Mary and Monica and dear father-in-law to Donna, and Jeff. Sadly missed by his loving family, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday evening (May 13th) from 6 pm to 8:30pm.
Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown on Thursday morning (May 14th) for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.
