Ethna Murphy

Dublin, Castleknock

Ethna Murphy (née Brennan), (Castleknock, Dublin, formerly Galway), passed away peacefully on 26th April, surrounded by her loving family.

Ethna was a devoted Mum to Shayne, Erin, Devin and Ultan.

Lovingly remembered by her daughters-in-law Sandie and Emma, son-in-law Mick and former spouse Tony, and as a cherished and adored Nana to Eve, Uan, Jack, Oscar, Juliet, Hugh, Olivia, Marlon, Vivian, Amelia, Florence and Eleanor. Ethna will be sadly missed by her sisters and brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, friends, and neighbours.

Ethna was a truly beautiful person, whose warmth and gentle nature touched everyone who knew her. Her positivity and enduring dignity will be cherished and remembered with pride.

In recognition of Ethna’s love of flowers and nature, you are invited to bring a wildflower or a flower from your garden to place on her coffin.

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Clonsilla, D15 PY23 on Wednesday, 29th April from 5pm - 7pm. Removal from Cunninghams Funeral Home to Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock, D15 X277 for Funeral Mass at 11:30am on Thursday, 30th April, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium at 1:30pm.
