Griffin, Dr. Séamus (Shay) (Comber, Belfast) October 11th., 2024, in the kind care of Northern Ireland Hospice; sadly missed by his loving wife Geraldine, his brothers Bernard, Gerard and Matthew, his sisters Frances (McClelland) and Gabrielle, his brothers-in-law Liam and Rory, Neil and David, sisters-in-law Nuala (McBride), Mel and Mimmi, his nieces and nephews and his many good friends and colleagues in Ireland and Scotland.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Clonsilla on Sunday evening (October 13th) between 4pm and 6pm. Removal on Monday morning (October 14th) to St. Mochta’s Parish Church, Porterstown, Dublin 15, D15VD44 arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton, D13R858.

<p>I was so sad to hear of Shay’s loss. He was a true gentleman with an appreciation of all who worked with him . He kept in touch with me for many years and we would occasionally meet for up for lunch and a catch up . A kind and generous man with a great sense of humour. I speak for all the formal Secretaries and colleagues who have nothing but fond memories of him . He will be greatly missed. Condolences to family and all of Shay’s relatives.</p>

Beloved husband of Pauline and much-loved father of Cindy, Donna and Leona and a devoted grandfather of Fionn, Evan, Craig and Libby. Greta Reilly (née Margaret Shanahan of Glenamaddy, Galway) long residing at Dunboyne Co. Meath Passed away peacefully on the 1^st July 2026 at Connolly Hospital following a long illness, bravely borne.

Greta, beloved mother of three, will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and humility and for the many treasured memories she leaves with all who knew and loved her.

Predeceased by her beloved parents Thomas and Baby, brothers Tony, Joe, sisters Sarah, Nuala and nephew Charles.

I was so sad to hear of Shay’s loss. He was a true gentleman with an appreciation of all who worked with him . He kept in touch with me for many years and we would occasionally meet for up for lunch and a catch up . A kind and generous man with a great sense of humour. I speak for all the formal Secretaries and colleagues who have nothing but fond memories of him . He will be greatly missed. Condolences to family and all of Shay’s relatives.
