HOLMES, Barbara, (Newtown, Celbridge, Co. Kildare) May 24th, 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at The Hermitage Clinic, Lucan. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Maureen. Predeceased by her elder brother Seamus who died young. Much loved sister of Tony, Frank, Denis, William, Bernard and Finbarr. Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When the current circumstances have passed we look forward to celebrating Barbara’s life with friends and extended family at a later date. Marten (Dundalk, Co. Louth and formerly of Lucan, Co. Dublin) June 10th, 2026, suddenly, Darren (Dar), much-loved father of Kyle, Kacey, Nicole and Layla. Rothwell (née Kelly), Mary, formerly of St. Margaret’s, Co. Dublin and Kilbride, Co. Meath, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 10th June 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late John (Sean) Rothwell. Much loved mother of Seamus, Marie, Pat, Martin, Colm and John. Predeceased by her six sisters, two brothers and daughter-in-law Mary. She will be very sadly missed by her sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Marie and Pauline, her cherished grandchildren Seamus, Karyn, Catherine, Lorna, Lorraine, Rosemary, Ciaran and Denise, her ten great-grandchildren, neighbours and friends. Mary enjoyed a long, full and healthy life.
